48 Hour Film Project St. Louis

Cinema St. Louis recently presented the 48 Hour Film Project, the original international timed filmmaking competition. Filmmakers from all over the St. Louis area competed to see who could make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world for the title "Best 48 Hour Film of 2019."

The 48 Hour Film Project took place in St. Louis in early June 2019. Competition weekend was Friday, May 31-Sunday, June 2. Public screenings of completed films were on the weekend of June 8-9. The "Best of" screening and awards announcements was on Wednesday, June 19. All screenings occurred at Washington University's Brown Hall.
