Like most arts nonprofits, Cinema St. Louis holds annual fundraisers to help pay for our programs. At our annual J. Kim Tucci Bowlathon, Cinema St. Louis board members and staff will be channeling the Dude in the “The Big Lebowski” for a friendly competition for prizes both on and off the lanes.
There are two ways that you can help: You can sponsor one of our Board Members or staff in their efforts or YOU can join the competition.
You can sponsor a bowler at the link at the bottom of the page, then at the confirmation screen enter the name of the staff member (Cliff Froehlich, Chris Clark, Bree Maniscalco, or Brian Spath) or one of our Board Members you would like to sponsor.
Join us on Sun., Aug. 18, 2019, from 2-6 pm at Saratoga Lanes.
To join in the fun competition, you just need to gather a minimum total of $50 in pledges. When seeking pledges, there’s no amount too small (or too large!)--you just need to reach the goal of $50. If you want a friend to join you in bowling, the minimum total is $75. If you’d like to participate but prefer not to gather pledges, you can simply write a check (made payable to Cinema St. Louis) for the minimum amount of $50.
The three attendees with the highest amount raised will receive prize packages, including passes to Cinema St. Louis events. And the prizes don’t stop there! The bowlers with the top scores will also be rewarded with extreme bragging rights and some fun prizes.
This event started in 2011 thanks to the passion and fun spirit of former Cinema St. Louis Board President, J. Kim Tucci. CSL and the St. Louis community lost Kim earlier this year and we continue this event in loving memory of Kim.
