Like most arts nonprofits, Cinema St. Louis holds annual fundraisers to help pay for our programs. But were not holding a swanky and expensive gala. Instead, we’re going bowling. At our annual Bowlathon, Cinema St. Louis board members and staffers will be channeling the Dude in the “The Big Lebowski” and hitting the lanes.
There are two ways that you can help. You can sponsor one of our staff members or Board Members in their efforts or you can join us.
You can sponsor a bowler at the link at the bottom of the page, then at the confirmation screen enter the name of the staff member (Cliff Froehlich, Chris Clark, Rita Hiscocks, or Brian Spath) or one of our Board Members you would like to sponsor.
Join us on Sun., Aug. 20, 2017, from 4-6 p.m. at Tropicana Lanes, 7960 Clayton Road.
You can join the fun for free! To participate, you just need to gather a minimum total of $50 in pledges. When seeking pledges, there’s no amount too small (or too large!)--you just need to reach the goal of $50. If you want a friend to join you in bowling, the minimum total is $75. Download a pledge form now (Fillable PDF). Bring this form with, along with money raised to the event on Aug. 20. Checks should be made out to Cinema St. Louis, contributions are tax-deductible.
If you’d like to participate but prefer not to gather pledges, you can simply write a check for the minimum amount.
The three attendees with the highest dollar totals in pledges will receive prize packages, including passes to Cinema St. Louis events.
