Encouraged by her bemused but supportive children, Jan seeks answers from others to help establish her newfound identity. In the film, she meets a host of diverse women – including St. Louis natives Jane Ellen Ibur and Sondra Seiler – and gathers tips and anecdotes from young and old lesbians, couples and singles, and fellow “dykes in training.” Subjects Ibur and Seiler will attend.
