Three timelines are interwoven into a cinematic triptych: In 1868, a young artist travels to Montana to paint the wild, untamed land to chase a new “muse.” In 1979, a young photographer is forever changed when a bold foreign-exchange student alters his perception of the world. And in 2020, a young trans musician tries to take his life in a moment of utter despair and hopelessness before connecting with an inspiring trans non-binary therapist.
