The Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival will return Nov. 3-13, 2016. Below is information regarding the 2015 festival.

Venues and Tickets

Individual tickets are $12 each or $10 for Cinema St. Louis members and students with current and valid ID, except for the following special events:

  • Deep Web (film and reception on Nov. 5 at the Tivoli): $15 (no discounts or passes)
  • Hitchcock/Truffaut and Notorious (double bill on Nov. 10 at Webster U.): $15 (no discounts or passes)
  • How to Smell a Rose and In Transit (double bill on Nov. 11 at Webster U.): $15 (no discounts or passes)
  • The Unknown and Freaks (double bill on Nov. 13 at Webster U.): $15 (no discounts or passes)
  • Beaver Trilogy and Beaver Trilogy Part IV (double bill on Nov. 14 at Webster U.): $15 (no discounts or passes)

  • In addition to paid shows, SLIFF offers more than 50 free programs.
Online sales are limited to full-price tickets only; Cinema St. Louis member and student discounts can only be obtained in person because ID is required. See venues below for specific ticket information.
Hi-Pointe, KDHX, Plaza Frontenac, Tivoli, and Webster U. box offices will open a half-hour before the first show. The free events offered at Ballpark Village, Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, KDHX, Missouri History Museum, SLU, Urban Chestnut, Wash. U. (both Brown and Steinberg), and Webster U. require no ticket. The free events offered at Plaza Frontenac and Tivoli require a complimentary ticket that should be obtained at the box office on the day of show; advance tickets to free shows at these venues can be obtained online, but a $1.01 service charge applies.
  • Festival Punch-Passes are available at two levels: 6-ticket pass for $65 or 10-ticket pass for $100.
  • Festival Punch-Passes are not valid for these four special events: “Deep Web” on Nov. 5; “Hitchcock/Truffaut” and “Notorious” double bill on Nov. 10; “How to Smell a Rose” and “In Transit” double bill on Nov. 11; and “The Unknown” and “Freaks” double bill on Nov. 13.
  • Festival Punch-Pass-holders are required to obtain a ticket for each film attended, either in advance or day of show; a hole will be punched in the pass for each ticket purchased.
  • Festival Punch-Pass-holders can be used to purchase multiple tickets for the same show and to obtain tickets for screenings at all venues.
  • Festival Punch-Passes are available at Hi-Pointe, Tivoli, and Plaza Frontenac box offices in advance and at Hi-Pointe, KDHX, Tivoli, Plaza Frontenac, and Webster U. on day of show.
Festival All-Access VIP Passes (good for two admissions to every SLIFF program, including special events) are available for $350. Pass-holders are required to obtain a ticket for each film attended, either in advance or day of show. All-access passes are available by phone only though Cinema St. Louis: 314-289-4153.

Tivoli Theatre

Advance tickets for programs at this venue are for sale at the Tivoli box office. Box-office hours are 4-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and noon-10 p.m. Friday-Sunday. No phone sales. There is a $1-per-ticket service charge for online sales. Pick up your tickets at the box-office window. Bring the credit card that you used to purchase the tickets or the confirmation number.

Paid parking is available in the lot next to the Tivoli and in the garage across the street. Free parking is available three blocks west and one block north of the theater in a lot bounded by Kingsland and Leland avenues.

Advance tickets for programs at this venue are for sale at the Plaza Frontenac box office. Box-office hours are 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday. No phone sales. There is a $1-per-ticket service charge for online sales. Pick up your tickets from the box-office attendant or use an automated kiosk at the box-office counter.
