The Hi-Pointe Theatre is the oldest locally owned and continuously operating arthouse theater in St. Louis. In 1977, the James family acquired the theater, and under their stewardship, it became an iconic St. Louis landmark. Cinema St. Louis officially purchased the theatre in January 2023 and welcomes you to the organization's new permanent home.
PARKING: Parking is limited at the theatre. Thanks to Lindell Bank, parking in the bank parking lot across the street from the theatre is free and available outside of bank hours. You may also park in the Backlot Theatre Parking lot.
Do not park in any of the following lots, as you may be asked to move or be towed:
- Amoco
- Chinese Express
- Hi-Pointe Drive-In
- Hi-Pointe Dispensary
These are all independent companies, and their parking is reserved for their customers.
