The St. Louis Independent Comics Expo (SLICE) is St. Louis’s premier annual indie-print showcase, bringing together writers, artists, poets, and printmakers from St. Louis and beyond. The festivities kick off with an opening night panel discussion featuring SLICE 2023 special guests, hosted at the Hi-Pointe Theatre on Friday, October 13, from 6–8 p.m. This year’s special guests include small press comics publisher Bulgilhan Press, illustrator and cartoonist Bianca Xunise, and St. Louis–based TTRPG designer Cassi Mothwin.
