This fantastical summer romance musical is told with the iconic tunes of legendary American Folk music duo the Indigo Girls. Glitter comes from a rich family but wants to be a circus clown. Doom is a singer-songwriter from poor surroundings who wears charisma as camouflage, trying to break into the local club scene. While carefree Glitter has an over-abundance of self-confidence, Doom has self-doubts. They fall in love at first sight, and have 29 days to fall more in love before Glitter leaves for clown school in Paris. Meanwhile, Doom needs to produce a promotional music track to confirm his breakout club gig. Will there be enough time to fall in love forever? “Glitter & Doom” stars out and very open LGBTQIA discoveries Filipino actor Alex Diaz as Glitter and British actor Alan Cammish as Doom. This dazzling queer musical co-stars the ubiquitous and always hilarious character actress Missi Pyle, and comediennes Lea DeLaria and Tig Notaro. Director Tom Gustafson is an alum of QFest St. Louis.
