Elena is a theater director who lost the opportunity to have children at the age of 32. Trying therapies to conceive and failing to convince her charismatic, 50-year-old husband Leon to stay with her in Bulgaria and keep trying, Elena develops a theater program transforming the lives of orphaned children. Just as Leon matures about the idea of trying "in vitro" with donated eggs, Elena is invited to adapt her program in Kenya, where the number of orphans is huge. Elena is faced with the choice between the dream of having her own child or helping thousands of children start dreaming. Finding her own path, Elena redefined the word "mother." Inspired by a true story.
